Well, we are going to try to make it that's for sure. What an exciting day in Hall & Oates land! Fans learned today that Daryl & John will host their very first music festival in Philadelphia, PA at Festival Pier at Penn Landing. The aptly-Daryl-named, HoagieNation Festival: A Celebration of Everything Philly, will roll into town on Saturday, May 27th.
Accompanying the all-time best-selling duo are Tears for Fears, Allen Stone, G Love & Special Sauce, Marah, Vivian Green, Son Little, Kandace Springs, and others to be named as the event nears.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday March 17th at noon. There is also a Daryl Hall & John Oates Fan Club (AAC) pre-sale which will take place for members on Monday March 13th.
I've combined a list of links to some useful pages and fun interviews regarding the Festival below:

So I know it's been a loooooong time since I have posted to this lovely blog...you know, life and all that jazz. But, I am super amped for the upcoming LFDH Live Tour which kicks off this Wednesday (April 11th) in Montclair, NJ!!! This tour features special guests Sharon Jones and R&B prodigy Allen Stone (I love him).
We've also got a new fella in the band!!! As most of you know our beloved Everett Bradley is now booty shaking with The Boss...yes....THE BOSS. You can catch Ev on tour with the ever popular Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.
Anywho....back to Daryl's band.....new member....yes!! I don't think the official word is out yet so I've gotta keep it on the D.L. but you SO will not be disappointed!! Promise!!
I'll be at a number of the upcoming shows and promise to take loads of pics and give updates via Facebook. If you don't follow me yet on the FB...please feel free to friend me! You can find me at www.facebook.com/oohyeah.
Now some questions come to mind...will we get to hear some tracks from 'Laughing Down Crying'? Will Daryl change up the wardrobe? These and more will hopefully be answered on Wednesday night! And I, for one, cannot wait!!! Stay tuned!
